He is single, looking for love and ready to break another man’s heart to find his soul mate.
Gqeberha model Sibu Nqini, 26, is one of 10 single men appearing in Showmax’s new reality show, Temptation Island SA.
He said he entered to find love, even if it meant breaking up another romantic relationship.
The 10 men, alongside 10 single women, will meet four heterosexual couples who could possibly comprise their soul mates.
The singles will be the test the four couples have to conquer.
Together, the couples will experience a luxurious holiday in scenic Knysna, where they live separately — with 20 single men and women who are looking for love.
This last taste of the single life is meant to help answer the couples’ most difficult questions about their relationship.
The idea is for them to find out whether they are truly meant to be together or if there are better suitors for them out there.
Nqini is counting on his good looks and charm to attract his soul mate before he even says a word.
If what the public has seen on the streets of Gqeberha, where Nqini poses on advertisement posters, is anything to go by, it is safe to say the model stands a good chance of winning over some hearts.
Nqini is of the city’s models for long-standing local family business Birch’s Man.
He has also modelled for Nelson Mandela Bay Fashion Week, among other gigs.
Having been single for four months, the model says he is now ready to find a new woman who knows how to have some fun and stands out in a crowd.
“My power of seduction is my appeal.
“I don’t need to say much, you just feel it.”
The 26-year-old said he joined the show to find his ideal partner, whom he hoped would possess qualities such as assertiveness and sound intuition.
“My ideal partner is highly intuitive,” he said.
“I’m 98kg of pure man meat so she’s a magnificent cook as well.
“She’s highly assertive, very intimidating and what ties her all together is that she’s awfully ravishing,” the entrepreneur said.

Soon, viewers will be introduced to the 10 single women who will be joining the show before it premieres at the end of August.

A production of Survivor SA producers Afrokaans Film & Television, Temptation Island SA is the first international reality TV series format Showmax has licensed.
Temptation Island, which is distributed by Banijay Rights, the global distribution arm of Banijay, is a Teen Choice-nominated pop culture phenomenon which has been adapted 25 times so far.
Temptation Island SA premieres on August 26, with new episodes every Thursday on Showmax.
